  • 1 packet Colman's Shepard's Pie seasoning mix
  • 1lb minced lamb
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 1.5 cups of frozen peas
  • 400ml of cold water
  • 1 packet of family size frozen Bob Evans mashed potatoes
  • 1.5 cups shredded cheddar cheese

 

To Cook

  1. Preheat oven to 400
  2. Brown in a pan the mince, onion and garlic
  3. In a bowl, mix the seasoning with cold water until completely dissolved, then add to the pan.
  4. Add carrots and peas and bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Place mince mixture into an ovenproof dish.
  6. Microwave Bob Evans potatoes for half the time on the package instructions.
    • Just until soft and can stir the potatoes.
  7. Spread the mashed potatoes to cover top of the mince mix.
  8. Spread shredded cheese across the top of the mashed potatoes.
  9. Cook in heated oven for 30 minutes.
