As schools break up for summer and kids can play in meadows amid poppies and singing skylarks, wildlife around the world has very different stories to tell. Lemmings are going crazy. But the giving summer heat is too much in southern Spain, where pools are drying out leaving fish high and dry, a feast for herons.
